Pearl Country Club was purchased by Mr. Soichiro Honda, founder of Honda Motors Co. Ltd in December of 1975. Mr. Honda’s goals were to serve the community first, foster international goodwill and provide Hawaii golfers with the opportunities to experience top-notch completion. In 1979 the Hawaii Pearl Open was established by Mr. Honda. The Hawaii Pearl Open was one of Hawaii’s largest local tournaments. Each year, approximately half of Hawaii Pearl Open field came from Japan’s professional golf tour, along with the country’s top amateurs. Until his passing in 1991 at the age of 84, he imprinted both the Pearl Country Club and Hawaii Pearl Open with his personal beliefs and energy. The last Hawaii Pearl Open tournament was in February 2013.

What Our Customers Are Saying
Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!
We had our grandson’s first birthday event here. Notice I said “event” not party because this place was classy complete with linen, china and glass ware. The food was delicious and the environment perfect. The room was large and airy; just the right amount of breeze blew in from the golf course. Perhaps because it was so beautiful, everyone was on their best behavior, even the kids. Yet they all had fun.
The staff was professional and very accommodating. We had popcorn, cotton candy, and shave ice vendors. A photo booth, face paint, balloon creature maker, and candy artist. All was given support without any hassle. Most importantly, the kids had a blast. Over and over, we heard what a bomb this party was.
It was so easy to reserve the Pearl room and the administration was full of information about the room and payment. Everything went off without a hitch, I believe because communication was top notch.
Highly recommend. Perfect for any event.Nani T
Very beautiful grounds and view of Pearl Harbor, the Pearl Country Club is conveniently located but has dated facilities. It should be noted, I am not a golfer and am not reviewing the course, just the clubhouse itself. The PCC is somewhat small, but has a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains, harbor, and golf course.
The club has an excellent restaurant and bar, pro shop, snack bar, and other facilities. I attended a training class in one of the small meeting rooms. Climate control was either too cold or sticky and humid. The staff made our class comfortable, namely with refreshments and drinks. The lanai is long and spacious, with restaurant tables overflowing outside. Restrooms were clean, but old and outdated. Parking seemed to be ample. The PCC seems like a nice venue for small meetings, larger engagements, brunch, lunch, or dinner out, or a day of golfing.Alexander G.
We had our Destination wedding event here just recently. I cannot THANK MANDY & the rest of the staff for going above & beyond expectations. They are very helpful since day one when I called for inquiry. Very detailed, very accommodating , & flexible for last minute changes. I was skeptical at first when I saw this place but as I read more reviews, talked to the staff & had other people checked it out for me in person, I felt that I made the right decision & to this day, I feel blessed that I found this place. Not only that they have exceeded my expectations, from helping me decide room set up, linens, food choice ,offering extra help that no other vendors would do, they have given me great referrals from Linen/chair covers to DJ. Everything has lined up perfectly.
The place is also beautiful. The View is perfect from the Pearl room. The food was good & over all the price was great.
Again, kudos to Mandy for really stepping up ,making the whole destination wedding less stressful for us. This is a great place for any event & you know will be taken cared off because all the staff are great to work with.
